This page in my sketchbook was made with sharpie, watercolors and construction paper. I choose to highlight this page because I love the way it came out and I put a lot of effort into it. I'm not really sure what it was about, I was randomly drawing a tiger one day and I decided to make it into a sketchbook page. And then I heard Katy Perry's song "Roar" and I was inspired to add that to the bottom as well. It stands out from the others because of its bright colors and contrasting dark colors. I've done things like this before, having a main drawing with words is something I like to do. Honestly, I don't know what other people would say about this page, but hopefully it would be positive. I think that most people would like it, because it is pretty cool.
I really like this page simply because its so colorful and simplistic. Even though it doesn't look like it, this page took me the longest. I cut out pieces of paper from magazines of different colors and I threw them together. This page really doesn't mean anything... it's just a space filler. But I really do like the way it came out. This page is different from the others because it's the only one with magazine paper on it and also it doesn't have a quote. People would probably say that this picture is just crazy weird but hopefully in a good way. I like this page a lot more than any from the first marking period, but I don't see any improvement in myself.
I also choose this page because I worked really hard on it and it came out fairly well. I used pencil to draw the horse and surrounding it is acrylic paint. This page is basically just showing a horse, since ever since I was a kid I have had a love for horses. This is one of the few pages in my sketchbook that doesn't have a quote on it, and it's also the only one that was black and white. Hopefully I think people would like this page even though it is so plain, because it's pretty good for me as far as drawing goes. I don't really think I've improved any from first marking period.
